Welsh Mountain Ponies have been bred at The Friars Stud for over 50 years and are well known for their quality and spectacular movement.

Over a span of 50 years Friars ponies have been exported all over the world and have been very successful for their new owners. Here at Friars the ponies have brought us immeasurable pleasure and success among them many Royal Welsh and Royal Show winners. It is impossible to mention them all here but some of the favourites are included on this website.
