Champion and silver medal winner at the Cheshire County Show 2006

 
 

Friars Armani - 2year old filly

Sire: Pontgam Supreme
Dam: Friars Mon Ami

Friars Armani, on her first appearance in the show ring, at the Lampeter Stallion Show was section A champion and was Supreme Overall Champion of the show, believed to be the first time a section A filly has ever held this title.

She was also first at Cheshire County show and reserve youngstock champion.

First at the Telynau show and first with reserve youngstock champion at the Royal Welsh.


 
 Friars Goldilocks  

Sire: Cefn Fedw Golden Glory
Dam: Friars Golden Charm

 

Goldilocks was shown for the first time at Lampeter Stallion Show as a 2 yr. old, when she won her class, was youngstock  champion and stood reserve champion Section A.

When Goldilocks won the Edgar Herbert Trophy that day for the best 2 yr. old it was the 6th time for a Friars filly to achieve this success.

Section A Champion, Overall Supreme Welsh Champion Royal Welsh 2004 & winner of the Tom & Sprightly Perpetual Challenge Cup

 

 

Her dam, Friars Golden Charm won it 1981, Friars Sidan 1982, Friars Sarah 1985, Friars Lleucu Llwyd 1992, Friars Dreams of Glory 1993. 

Goldilocks went on to win championships too numerous to mention, but here are a few of them: Champion Ponies UK Peterborough, Champion Three Counties, 1st & Reserve female champion Royal Show, 1st Royal Welsh Show 2000.

Goldilocks was shown twice this year and to add to her Royal Welsh title she was also section A champion at the Cheshire County Show and Overall Supreme Welsh Champion.

Friars Lleucu Llwyd

Sire: Cefn Fedw Golden Glory
Dam: Friars Sarah

Lleucu Llwyd won the Royal Welsh as a yearling and 3 yr old and her dam Friars Sarah won the Royal Welsh three times and was Youngstock Champion.

Lleucu Llwyd also won the Royal Show and was Female Champion in 1993 & Champion Shropshire & West Midlands.

The Friars Stud has also won the Gwyn Price progeny group award at the Royal Welsh 5 times and on one occasion, at the 1981 Royal welsh Show, won both the Sire and Dam group with Friars Golden Charm, Friars Sunshine and Friars Freelance, all three sired by Friars Ranger and out of Friars Golden Sunset. 


 
Friars Cara Mia

Sire: Knolton Daylight
Dam: Friars Liquid Gold

1st at Lampeter Stallion show and also won the Royal of England Show 2004.
